I didn't start college until I was 46 and I was granted a full ride on financial aid and was able to not only go to school full time but it payed my rent and I had enough to feed us and pay for books and any modest needs we needed. It sounds like you would qualify for full financial aid plus the pell grant and there are a few other smaller grants that go along with the aid. I recieved my grant every 10 weeks and was able to make it last until the next 10 weeks. If you haven't applied yet you should google financial aid and also google the school you are thinking about attending. You should be able to download your application papers off the net and then just copy them and get them made out as soon as you can. If you have a school in mind it would go a lot faster for you to take the papers to the school itself. While your there you can get a whole load of applications for other grants and scholarships.
